  • Extensive archaeological site and, perhaps, little known. After joining, along the main road, it enters the area of the shrines dedicated to various Greek gods. Nearby, lies the area of the Roman city, with ruins dating from the 4th century BC Quaint Theatre, still used today for a few performances. Too bad the site verses in a general carelessness. External to the site, but not far off, is the archaeological museum full of statues and artifacts of the period.

  • Rested under the Thessaloniki sea and of course could not visit the local monuments. Dion one is very interesting, the ancient city. For those who love history, ancient culture is a real nahodna. But in General for expanding horizons will be useful for all) people are not very numerous, numerous ancient streets might well get lost and feel the ancient dioncem) Recommend.

  • I was expecting maybe too. I thought to find a magical place with edi signs of a splendid past. Something similar to Paestum or the Valley of Tempi. None of this. Rocks covered with weeds and trash, the utmost carelessness and neglect. This place has so much meaning for our history cannot be left in this desolation. Europe should help Greece even so she can save this vestige of our past

  • Interesting place if you like ancient Greek archeological sites. It is quite a huge area! Worth visiting!
  • I loved it. Everything about it. The place is full of history and you can almost imagine the city back to life. If in area, don't miss it
  • Another must see for people interested in ancient culture. The ruins are presented as an archeological site, so they need a lot of imagination from the viewer, but they have some unique structures - everything is well described on the reading boards, so there is no real need for the guide if you have time.
  • Beautiful place and a must see in this area! Easy to get there by bus from Katerini you need around 25 minutes. You need around 4h for the museum and the Arschaeological park.
  • With one word: you must visit it if you are in that area... use cloudy days :)
