  • This year we decided to spend more money for our summer holidays than usual and fell in love with the glamping idea. So we booked the Safari Villa tend for 12 days. We are still a fan of the idea of glamping - the area is nice, has a good atmosphere the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! But unfortunately had our tend more to do with camping than glamping. Our view was towards the construction area for new tends and had definately not 80 m2 garden with hammock as written online. The basic thing a shower curtain was not there so the bathroom floor stayed wet after having a shower. On the virtual computer pictures online you see a small kitchen area in the tend wich was ... of course also not there. Because of governmental problems ‚not yet‘ he sayed - anyway it is on the pictures. What you also see written online and what we also did‘nt had was for exampel: bathrobes, welcome basket, artisanal toiletries with kalymnos sponge... But at the end what made us angry the most was that we had to pay for the airport transfer back home. As you can see also online ist is included! The owner said it is just included for arrival and so we payed. What logic is that?! That is cheating! For us we see a system behind all this. You see things shown online - but you geht less at the end. And definately not worth that money we payed. I don‘t know. Maybe we had bad luck with our honeymoon... especially if you see other positive revisions. Maybe they all had different tends... 😉 But for us it is definately overrated and overpriced!
  • I stayed for 10 days at Sails on Kos. The owners Alexi, George and Maddy were so warm and welcoming, it really felt like staying with family. The atmosphere was spectacular with not too many people around. Just right. Breakfast was a real standout, fresh fruit and pastries each morning along with the toasted muesli was such a good way to begin each day. I highly recommend and will be back next season.
  • What a beautiful and relaxing spot with a great concept and amazing hosts & team! Sails on Kos is run by a family and that is what you can experience from day one you‘ll arrive. The vibes are very welcoming with great warmth and friendliness. It starts e.g. with homemade granola for breakfast or if you prefer some vegetables from the garden. The food is typical greek style, down to earth and very tasty. You can enjoy relaxing vibes at the pool or walk (5-7 min) /take a free bike to the beach, just around the corner. The sandy beach is very nice and the water is very clean. We stayed in one of the “villa tents“ which offer enough space for four people and are super comfortable. We loved the feeling of camping and being outside plus having a bit of extra comfort like a normal hotel e.g. bathroom, comfortable bed and living room. And you have your own garden and terrace space in front of the tent with a table plus chairs and a bench to relax and chill. The tent has been cleaned everyday (bathroom/toilet) and there has been fresh towels and bed linen every second day. The whole facility is very well maintained and the pool area is super nice. We already came twice this year and will definitely visit again. Thank you very much Madeleine and Alexis plus the whole “family team“ for such a great and relaxing vacation time!
  • What an amazing, new place on the beautiful island of Kos! We arrived on the 2nd of July and had a stay for 2 weeks. The location is very relaxing. View of the mountains, while you are only 750m from the sea. The stay is excellent: luxury tents with a private toilet and shower, lots of space (villa tent) and great beds. Because of the coronavirus, breakfast was served at the table but this was not limited, there was enough choice: fruit, bread, cereals, eggs, ... A great start of the day! They try to use local products. During the day, until late at night, kitchen is open so you can always eat something if you feel the need. In addition, this place is run by a very warm family, who does anything to make you at ease. For us it was a perfect holiday and we will definitely will come back! Tip: Marmari is very well located to discover the island. Rent a bicycle or car so you can explore the island.
  • Very nice experience! Lovely people and excellent food. Glamping at it’s best. 10/10 would book again!
