Where to stay in Kos Town

Kos Town and its surrounding region offer some of the finest four- and five-star rooms in the Dodecanese. Resort hotels dot the area, providing spacious rooms and access to outdoor pools, fine restaurants, and spa and fitness facilities. All this comes at a price, so if you have a tight budget, consider staying at a family-run guesthouse or good-value hostel. Although they offer smaller rooms and shared restrooms, these establishments keep you close to the sea without costing too much.

  • Yet again my wife and I made the trip to this volcanically heated pool. The sulphurous water is heated by the same volcanic activity which feedw the nearby island of Nisyros. Set among black sand and ...  more »

  • Right next to the sea so you can go from cold to hot. It is pretty steep to get their so people with conditions might find it hard to make the walk. Donkey rides to the bottom or top are cheap. You can sunbath on the beach. Masseuse at the springs if you want to take your relaxation to the next level. Fantastic View.
  • I would suggest to visit if in Kos. There is hot spring water that comes from inside the mountains, and a pool is formed before it goes into the sea. It has a bad smell to it but is worth taking a dip. I would advise you DO NOT wear jewellery while in the water as it will get damaged. Really enjoyed being here and it has beautiful scenery. There is a steep long walk down from the main road so not advisable if you struggle walking.
  • I wish I was back at Thermae. A natural hot pool on a beach. Swimming in the cool sea and then slipping into the relaxing natural hot pool on the beach is bliss. I went in Spring and there was only 3 others there. Wish I took pictures the first time I went because when I returned a few days later the sea had washed the pool away. Can't complain when it is dug by volunteers and it is free to use.
  • If you don't mind the smell of sulfur, it is a great place for a late afternoon/evening chillout
  • Really cool place. The water is very hot closer to source. You can smell sulfur. And in longer time, your skin going red. Negative: No place to change clothes. Abandoned places. Greeks really lazy people, cant install location to be nice to come
