  • If someone interested in comes up as the tobacco to cigarette, must visit this museum. There one of the major economic is factors Greek Macedonia describes the harvesting and processing of Greek Villiger, for decades. My grandfather, my father and I were working in the tobacco industry.

  • The tobacco Museum is a quiet but full of history, place that is inseparably connected to the city of Kavala. With a nominal fee (2 € that will have to be more), I admire a variety of objects from the beginning of the century, you will see the progress of the Association of kapnemporwn in the region, trade unionists, and tobacco products. Unique experience, in an area rich from memories and history ...

  • Kavala owes its prosperity to the tobacco industry. After all, near Rhodope Mountains! Only after the war, when the industry collapsed, carried numerous tobacco warehouses on the banks of the barracks (where, incidentally, the Jews were driven during the war before being sent to a concentration camp Treblinka). All the beautiful buildings in the city built tobacco magnates.
