  • Despite the extreme temperatures, the visit was absolutely worthwhile. We were while what really is not recommended there, lunchtime ;-) Those who are interested in history and architecture, come here fully at his own expense. And that's who is too tiring walking around in the heat between the ancient stones, which can escape is in the Museum, which is also worth a visit.

  • Magnificent and very very big. You need a lot of time to see and admire all the old ruins.
  • Wonderful !!! Must visit . One of the most significant sites throughout the northern part of Greece.
  • I very much regret not being given any information nor the archaeological site hours nor any website nor a telephone. This is a disgrace for a site like this. What is the reason that is so apaxiwmenos this place? He joined the 2016 in monuments of cultural heritage of UNESCO but against the other. What does the archaeological service? 5 stars for the importance of the area and none for the aneythynoys armodioys.

  • Of the most important archaeological sites in Greece and the greatest in Eastern Macedonia. In this place was founded by the Apostle Paul the first Church in European territory and baptized the first European Christian (Saint now) Lydia. Among others in the area is preserved and the ancient theatre. The visit of the archaeological site is highly recommended.
