Known around the world for predicable winds, Prasonisi Beach is a popular spot for swimmers, snorkelers, and windsurfers. Wedged between two seas, the beach offers good breakers for advanced surfers on the Aegean side, and calmer waters on the Mediterranean side. Located about 90 km (55 mi) from the city of Rhodes, the beach features amenities, including booths where you can rent surfboards and wetsuits. You can also take a short drive and visit Kattavia, a small village packed with hotels, stores, and restaurants.
