Known around the world for predicable winds, Prasonisi Beach is a popular spot for swimmers, snorkelers, and windsurfers. Wedged between two seas, the beach offers good breakers for advanced surfers on the Aegean side, and calmer waters on the Mediterranean side. Located about 90 km (55 mi) from the city of Rhodes, the beach features amenities, including booths where you can rent surfboards and wetsuits. You can also take a short drive and visit Kattavia, a small village packed with hotels, stores, and restaurants.   • We were last year, and decided to visit this place again, liked it. This time the appearance of the isthmus was a bit shabby, perhaps after a recent storm. And, somehow, there was not a single surfer Kids engaged Sandy architecture, while parents struggled with the waves, they are kind of low, but such sil'nen'kie. I decided to go to the peninsula. Daughter refused because her inspiration and she needed to build the Castle. Once such a case, the dad and be too remain to protect it (well the neighborhood lies on the sand). Well, we went with his son. And then there's pyramids, pyramids, pyramids. And why are their so many Rhodes? Probably from the series "vasya was here." Even so, much cuter than the variegated inscriptions on the walls. That's my companion managed to create a couple of masterpieces

  • Massive beach. Paradise for wind surfers. Be prepared for heavy winds. Not kids friendly. Worth stopping at top of the hill for views/pictures.
