Most of all I enjoyed the Church of St. Spyridon. It was very nice to wander among the walls of the Castle, walk allows you to feel the spirit of the time when it was built (the beginning of the 19th century). Preserved quite well and consists of a complex of buildings. Probably the most beautiful building-St. Spiridon, which was built before locking (we liked the Bell Tower). There is also a fortification gate and Tower-House. Unfortunately, we have not got into the House. But it is interesting to walk along historical places and introduce yourself in place of the inhabitants of that time (here and own garden was, and the production of olive oil). Another interesting fact: here planned the offensive and started it from here in the year 1821 Kolokotroniks to liberate Kalamata from the Turks. If you stopped in Kardhamíli, go be sure to walk here.show original
