Gaia Winery, Kamari

(4.2/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
Fine wine and tranquil views await at Gaia Winery, renowned for its dry whites. Situated on Santorini's coastline between Kamari and Monolithos, the winery occupies a former tomato factory dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. Once the production of cherry tomatoes ceased here, the old building gained new life as a modern winery using state-of-the-art equipment and innovative facilities to produce high-quality wines and aromatic vinegars. You can tour the winemaking facilities and taste a range of wines made and aged on site. Check the website for seasonal opening hours, and reserve your tour in advance. • Highly recommend a visit to this Winery. She is small, as well as all on this island. You can see how produce and how they store wine, and most importantly, in a pleasant atmosphere by the sea is a very pretty girl from Athens, unfortunately, can't remember her name, arranged a tasting of local wines.

  • Great little place to go to. It is quite a walk but worth every step. Great wines to taste and to drink. The staff is great and takes their time to explain about the wines. We als took the cheese platter with all different cheeses from the islands. They were fantastic. We spent a few hours on this little place on the beach, and ik was amazing!
  • Very authentic feel to this Vineyard by the beach. Definitely worth the trip.
  • Ultra wines. Bravo to the owner
