  • The archaeological site is located just east of Raches on a hill. From there one has fantastic views of the sea and the surrounding valleys. It is worth a visit in any case.

  • First, the small (well with) road which leads you to the site is a moment of happiness because of the simple beauty of the landscapes of the hinterland in the hills of olive trees. Then the site presents three large Mycenaean graves interest which one has been restored: the dome was rebuilt. At the entrance to the site, a panel provides some historical information in English. The Interior of the restored tomb is impressive. It's a little challenge for photographers: capture a wide net angle in dim light between the ground and the top of the couple is not obvious, but illustrates the scale of the construction. The site is lovely and peaceful, little visited. Careful, the site is considered as a Museum, and closed on Monday and in the afternoon.

  • A few kilometers from Kyparissia, in a lovely setting. A Mycenaean tholos complex of great interest because they seem to have made school to everyone else following. Poor educational system. Near a beautiful forest path leads to a source and a ravine with lush vegetation.
