Create an itinerary including Kalamaki Beach
A hidden gem of the Ionian Islands, Kalamaki Beach offers you a chance to practice your canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing skills in relative peace. Despite its proximity to the busy resort town of Kalamaki, the beach remains relatively undiscovered by foreign tourists and maintains its relaxed island atmosphere. A nesting ground for the endangered loggerhead sea turtles, the beach is a key part of a national marine park. In order to protect the turtles, which you can often spot in the shallow water near the sand, local law prohibits water skiing and swimming after dark. Rent a pedal boat and spend a day exploring this protected stretch of the coastline. Planning Kalamaki trip won't be overwhelming when you use Inspirock's itinerary maker.

  • Loved this quiet beach place. Free car park next to it. Make sure go for a swim in the Mediterranean sea... you will feel rejuvenated. Clear water and fishes everywhere. About 30 to 40 min drive from Athens City.
  • Beach is nice, sunbeds are 15€ per person, water is clean, showers are functional, you have a beach bar, toilet and even a small supermarket in front of the entrance which is free. One of the better beaches at the riviera
  • Water and beautiful beach, transport by tram, there is a supermarket nearby, I recommend taking drinks and food to the private beaches 8€ per person entrance + 8€ for umbrellas and chairs. Inside the private space there is a bar, showers, and bathrooms.
  • Very nice, free entrance and If you need sunbed it will cost 15 Euro per Person, very close to Tram Station
  • Really nice beach, clean, nice white pebble stones. Beach bar, music volume is still moderate, not super annoyingly loud as we experienced at other beaches in the Vouliagmeni area. Long chairs & Umbrellas are charged though (8€ p.p.), fortunately not the whole beach entrance which seems to be a spreading malpractice in Greece now. Horrible.
