  • It is unthinkable to the vicinity of Hersonissos without visiting the animals reptiles and marine rescue Center. You have the opportunity to approach and even to pythons and iguanas, all led by passionate people who dedicated their lives to helping animals in need. A € 6 entry, I can only advise of sponsoring an animal (pay for his food for a certain period) in order to help this Center to survive.

  • Brilliant nice little visit. The owner and his wife point things out for you, and give you all the information you need. A ticket gives you 2 weeks entry. They tell you not just facts, but how the animals ended up there... And the owner has almost all the information in his head. He takes the reptiles out for you, and shows you them up close, and even lets some be held. It's a very 'interactive' place. If you show up in the morning (1030 local time) you can also see the animals being fed (and remember, the ticket is good for 2 weeks). The place isn't huge- but don't be put off. There's a lot there, and its well worth a visit.
  • amazing!!! Best bit of our trip so far! Only 6 euro to go in and 4 for children and the ticket lasts up to 2 weeks. Lots of animals and lovely staff giving lots of information. Would definitely recommend!
  • Ignore the review below I drove nearly two hours to visit here and I'd do it again!!! Was absolutely fantastic!! Huge range of reptiles and fish all of which you can get very up close with! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff and incredibly cheap at €6 for adults
  • Great value for money. Lots of stuff to handle and interesting aquarium exhibits.
  • Scammers, pretending to be Cretaquarium Thalassocosmos and making money from the tourists' confusion. The price is unreasonably high for this kind of small aquarium and 2 reptiles. It offers absolutely nothing interesting, depends only on the confusion with the Cretaquarium, be careful!
