  • We were greeted by the young winemaker of the area that took the time to present the VAT room, the cellar and also the winery barrels despite preparations for the harvest. Tasting has focused on local varieties and was very interesting with the discovery of a "sweet red Helios" grape Liatiko surprising richness, complex and balanced. To recommend clearly.

  • Had a very nice nice tasting. Super friendly people. The Wine is great and much better than the usual stuff you get! Try the Malvasia white or the Sangiovese red then you know. Cool Design (and ideas) of the bottels are the cerry on top. Go there - now😃!

  • Mockery With great expectations we last Tuesday to this wine maker on the advice of a restaurant in Heraklion. After a fun phone call with a female Assistant we had more sense. As wine lovers it every exciting what beautiful things you get to taste. Upon arrival we were anything but a warm welcome. A uninterested adolescent girl led us in less than a 5-minute time of the winery then rapidly to us (read: 5 minutes) to taste five wines. To each wine they spent about three words in a whisper. Glass changing white to red wine and water at the wine; It turned out to be all too much trouble. In the end, us for this charade yet five euros per person will be charged. Too bad, the wine company left this day not her client-friendly side.

Where to stay in Heraklion

Heraklion serves as a convenient base for exploring Crete and draws big crowds with its centrally located hotels, which offer free Wi-Fi, secure parking, private swimming pools, and fitness facilities. Although pricey, staying in the city center also keeps you near the area's top shopping, dining, and entertainment. If you don't mind driving to shops and restaurants, explore the mid-range hotels and small inns farther away from the busy coastline, where you can choose a budget-friendly room with sea views and easy access to quiet beaches.
