  • Great for children. Lot of parking space, there's a restaurant with sea food (fresh & delicious). You will probably not spend more than 1 hour inside. Set expectations, you are in Crete so nothing huge or unusual.
  • Very nice place. Long opening hours. Easy to reach by bus from the area, but you have to walk to it about 1km. Recommend coming later when it's not so crowded. Lot of variety in fishes and other sea creatures. Sharks are BIG. I liked they had names of fishes in several languages including Czech.
  • Quite big aquarium, lots of fishes, very well made tanks. The sharks tank is HUGE, there are 4 sharks there, and the jelly fish tank is amazing! We went there with the local bus, it's a 30 minute ride and then 10 minutes by foot.
  • Visited here with the family and we all loved it! The aquarium is very modern and clean with lots of different fish and big tanks. There's also loads of information about all of the fish inside (in multiple different languages). Overall I would highly recommend this aquarium to anyone, especially families. You could easily spend the entire day here looking at all of the different fish and marine species.
  • Good place for a afternoon out. And good beach for swimming not to far away
