  • The Faros area is really interesting, both for the beaches which meet (Fasolou, Faros and Glyfo) both for the hike to Moni Chrissopigi, passing along the way, the ruins of the load floor when Faros, porto well protected, was the island's main airport. Shallow water, sandy beaches and crystalline, the most picturesque Fasolou, the most organized (so to speak) Faros and Glyfo quieter. Afterwards, Apokofto Beach Beach monastery with bottom a little more Rocky. All quiet anyway. It is certainly worth a day, given the various possibilities, rather than showing up late especially if you use public transport. Faros is served by frequent and not racing in the season the last of ten and a quarter back is just "the last train" for Apollonia. Definitely worth a visit and if you want to get away from the world even the stay.

  • Clear water, but the beach is despite this unattractive. Compacted sand and stony ground away from the edge, a few taken tamaris assault in season. Quite noisy environment, family beach, tamarisks are targeted early in the morning, hard to find a place in the shade in high season. The main interest of this small beach is to be in the village.

  • The lighthouse there are 3 beaches where you can swim. The Central beach of faros leads the way, Fasolou which to go 300 meters turn left before you reach the lighthouse and vlichos or Brackish which once you get to the Lighthouse must cross a cobbled lane left to go. Best of all (personal opinion) is vlichos. Is more secluded, quiet, with sand on the beach and in the sea and large armirikia for shade. Has cabin (locker room) and shower and scattered wooden benches. On the other hand the lighthouse there are taverns, bars, rooms and Fasolou (tavern). You choose and you get.
