Anthony Quinn Bay, Faliraki

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 3,000+ reviews on the web
The emerald waters lapping the rocky beach of Anthony Quinn Bay attract a huge number of visitors each day, making this compact area one of the most crowded in all of Rhodes. Named after actor Anthony Quinn, who purchased the small bay during production of one of his films, this miniature beach is located just south of the popular resort town of Faliraki. You can swim, snorkel, or dive here, or split your time between relaxing on the rock in the center of the beach and taking leisurely boat tours along the island's coastline. Bring a wide-brimmed hat and lots of drinking water if you plan to explore the cliffs above the bay. To visit Anthony Quinn Bay and other attractions in Faliraki, use our Faliraki vacation generator.

  • Very beautiful Bay, but Rocky. That is, you can only sunbathe on the loungers (5 euros). Bottom too. Constantly sail boats with tourists .... Sea pure.

  • tiny Bay with shallow, suitable for making snorkelling. 2 small beaches with sunbeds maybe a bit expensive (5 x all day) but it's worth it for the place that is always ammarata small boat in the Bay, some ability to use pedal boats. Council to bring sea shoes for rocks; accessed from parking kiosk-bar. I found a splendid afternoon, maybe a little fresh water but in October. straconsigliata the visit and a nice afternoon. I have no idea if in July August there's crowds, but I assume so.

  • Very nice beach. Almost completely closed from the wind. Very pure water. Beautiful views. The cost of two sun beds and umbrella 10 euros per day. On the beach there is a restaurant and bar. Showers, toilets and changing rooms too!
