  • What a great place! First of all, we did a tour of the small museum. We got very interesting explanations about olive trees and olive oil production in the Eggares area. In the shop next to the museum...  more »

  • If your in the area drop in but wouldn’t make a special trip to see it. It’s more of a store selling products than anything else. Very touristy:)  more »

  • Really interesting to see the old olive press. There is also a gift shop/cafe where you can sample and purchase different olive oils and preserves. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. A nice place to visit in the afternoon😊
  • Would not arrive early or as soon as they open. We were traveling with our eleven month old daughter and had to wait outside for about 25 minutes in the heat. Luckily we had a beach towel from the hotel to use as extra shade for her. The employee welcomed us inside about ten minutes after they opened and said they actually don’t open until 10:20 and she would offer us a tour then. I would have had no problem with this but all of their signs say they open at 10:00. With that said, she was a very friendly lady and gave us a nice tour and tasting. The tour actually only takes about 7 minutes and there is a single room with all the pressing equipment so it’s a very quick stop. We enjoyed olive oil cake and coffee after. We did notice that it did get very busy as we were leaving. The space for the tasting is small so can get crowded easily but they have a nice patio. I feel our experience would have been great if we didn’t get off to such an awkward start.
  • So interesting! We learned a lot! The curator was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. We also purchased several gift items from the shop for family back home. Loved sampling the different oils and olive products. (They make a good Frappe too!)
  • Angela and Irene very good at handling the whole place. The products are amazing. The experience changed my whole view about olives and olive oil
  • Lovely little place. You get to learn how olive oil is made. Then you get to try lots of their products to purchase. And it's free to enter.
