History Museum
Delphi Archaeological Museum houses ancient artifacts discovered at the Oracle of Delphi, spanning from the shrine's founding in the 18th century BC, to its decline in Late Antiquity. The fourteen exhibit rooms feature sculptures, statues, and other objects that were offered to the Oracle, as well as fragments from the sacred building. As you explore the museum, you'll learn about the Oracle's political, religious, and artistic significance throughout the ages. The museum has plenty of benches if you want to pause and consider some of the exceptional relics. Once you've finished taking in the exhibits, recharge with a cup of coffee from the on-site cafeteria. • Definitely worth visiting! The charioteer and the Kuroi leave you breathless. All the works, in fact, are quite nice and the Museum is located a few steps from the Temple of Apollo.

  • A very interesting look into the past. The climb to the top of Delhi wasn't to bad ,just wear good Shoes the steps are polished from all the visitors and are slippy be careful ... seen more than one person loose there footing.
  • A really nice museum worth seeing if you driving by or you're in the vicinity. We only did the museum because my sister was 9 months old and they told us it was a good hike for the actual ruins. Still very nice and highly recommended.
  • The museum and the archeological site are really fantastic and very interesting. I highly recommend to wear hats, closed shoes and avoid too hot hours for the site since it's on a large steep slope, very exposed to the sun. The museum hosts beautiful statues and restings. Overall a most-see.
  • I have visited the site before the 2004 renovation. The new museum with numerous excibits is indeed a cultural jewel.
  • Great museum with some amazing sculptures. The sheer number is astounding with a visit and make sure to do the audio tour.
