  • Our visit here was, unlike what my title would suggest, very nice! We only stopped here so my daughter could pee, I noticed immediately that this is not a real museum (more like a weirdly decorated ba...  more »
  • Place to flee! The boss is infected! If there is a place on the ridge where there is a homo sapiens good flesh and bone is here! If you want to meet him, just take a picture at the entrance to his property without taking your tickets, and there you should see appear this man from another Millennium. As we do with our children, you will be insulted and treated all the names for taking a miserable picture of his junk expo nickname! Fortunately, this gentleman is an exception on the island. If you're on the road especially to go your way, or else make lots of photos to rant even more! LOL Stéphane P.

  • We got there with the family by accident, but we don't regret a visit to the Museum! Superb owner welcomes you to smile, shows the best views and makes beautiful pictures; ) the same Museum I liked both the large and small; )

  • Bought ice cream and enjoyed the view. Nice to see the windmills working pumping water but we didn't go into the museum.
  • Takes money for photographs of the view. It's really sad because there is amazing landscape from there.
  • very small (so called) museum, suitable for yong kids
  • Beautiful view, but I did not visit the museum
  • Amazing views great to sit and have a drink

Where to stay in Malia

Malia's reputation as a mecca for young tourists, especially those hailing from the UK, means that there is no shortage of accommodation choices in the area--though don't expect much peace and quiet. This party capital of the island of Crete offers a number of beachfront hotels, which is certainly the most popular option here. You have hundreds of hotels to choose from in the area, but to avoid the noisy nightlife you should stay off of Malia's main road leading to the beach, which is crowded with clubs and bars. Alternatives include a variety of rentals along and away from the seaside, as well as the occasional boutique hotel.
