  • The view of a lifetime. Paul the apostle walked here, taught here, preached here. I thought about the temple and the Greek way of life.  more »
  • The temple was left a little, but enough to make an impression on the art and architectural mastery of the ancient Greeks.

  • Worth visiting the ruins of the amazing temple. Picturesque landscape surrounding the site and the museum next to it is a must see too.  more »

  • This place is amateur, haven't found anything really worth seeing, try visiting Louvre( Ancient Greece section) then you'll see the difference. And plus to that 8€ entrance, please,go somewhere else.
  • the temple of apollo was built around the 7 c. B.C and made by Trophonios and Agamedes. The temple is made out of Doric columns made of porous stone and limestone. According to Greek Myth, the Temple of Delphi was where the God Apollo slew the vicious Python. Afterwards, the temple became dedicated to the God, and Pythia, named for the Python that Apollo killed. The temple went through an earthquake in 373 B.C. and was rebuilt for the third time in 330 B.C.
