With sandy beaches, old fortress walls, and a castle, Kassiopi beckons those who love a charming fishing village. Visit the harbor and main square to get a feel for the area. Try traditional Greek dishes, including fresh fish and seafood, at one of the many restaurants--or opt for Chinese, Italian, and Mexican dishes. Climb the hill to reach the remains of a Byzantine castle dating back to the Venetian era. Designed to defend the island, the ruins of the fortress walls still surround the castle. From here, take in the view of town, Corfu’s coastline, and the shores of Albania across the water.
