  • Possible access by car to the bottom of the stairs. Panorama 360 ° on the western part of the island. It's worth the trip. There is a small chapel at the top, which you can visit. Access is free. Downstairs, there is a restaurant if you have nothing planned and a picnic area.

  • Anglucstero is a castle in the 13th century the Byzantine meaning in Greek "the Angels". The castle is on top of the highest mountain on the island and is considered one of the architectural wonders of the island. The castle is part of the historic triangle of Corfu which included also the castles and kassiopi gardiki and former capital of the island and served as the residence of the Governor of the Islands and Crete. The Fort is situated on a cliff high above sea level and has views of the beaches of la plaokstrica, unlike other castles never anglucstero although the position was under siege many times and aotmanyns failure to conquer it that ultimately led to defeat. The Castle include a church, which apparently were niches for burial and a restaurant with a terrace overlooking. When, in the early morning, the Fort's metal gate was open and we, together with many other visitors to enter the breathtaking Castle and contains most of the island.

  • We had our hotel in Paleokastritsa and since it was not far to the Angelokastro. The rise is super nice and will take 6-8 minutes at a normal pace. The prospect for this terrific! Also very evening journey to join the sunset up there is indescribable!
