  • This small museum may surprise you. It shows Chios 's history throught out the ages from the Archaic era (9-8th century), and even before that, right to the Imperial Years. It has many interesting ite...  more »
  • Two euro to get in, medium-sized museum, great collection of sculpture, pottery, jewelry. Easy walking distance from town. Takes about an hour or so to see it all.  more »
  • One of the best museums in Chios! It's small but you can spend a whole morning there. Greece and Chios have an amazing history and here you get to know more about it.  more »

  • A informative and interesting museum with a great collection of artificates found in Chios. It would seem that there is a lost Temple of Hercules and a lost Stadium in Chios yet to be discovered. Maybe the museum should be leading the way in trying to recover them. The linkage between the Temple of Apollo at Fana and Eygpt should be better articulated. Lotus flowers on the capitals found at Fana were not discussed. A great incite to once was a super power in its day.
