  • After the ferry, the hotel was excellent as we move or will separate when it goes back to the ferry 15-20 minutes should be enough time. In the Ottoman period is an important place to see the castle of the island.

  • This a lovely place to have a walk :) You could find nice coffee shops inside around a beautiful square! The architecture of the buildings is really interesting!  more »
  • I think you'll be surprised when looking for the castle. Maps gives you the location of like some tourist attraction or monument for the castle, but the castle itself is actually the entire community neighborhood surrounding it. It threw us of a bit. However walking around the perimeter we saw amazing flowers and how the community was built into the castle (parts of it were destroyed to put in streets and stuff) it was really cool.
  • The most historic and traditional place of Chios' town.Nice for an evening walk.Try to visit the old baths.Ask how to climb and walk on the walls. There are some descent cafes and tavernas at the castle's square.
  • You should not miss to see if you visit Chios. Castle of chios is an interesting place, for architects and engineers. You will see an ancient town with narrow streets well preserved up to day. I was so curious about inside architecture of the houses but no sample. Everyone is still living in. Visitors can take a break and have a sit in the centre of town in coffee shops and enjoy traditional greek drink and snacks.
  • Because you feel like you in the past
  • The building/landscape combination doesn't disappoint.
