  • Everything about our tour with Chania Adventures was wonderful and magical. Our guide (Stelios? Stavros?) was an amazing storyteller who gave us so much more than just a jeep tour - we learned...  more »
  • First of all, hats off to Nasos for organizing a very enjoyable tour. The Anoskeli winery tour is not an adventure tour. It is a chance to not only see the wonderful scenery but to sample some wines.....  more »
  • Nasos was our guide. He was very personable and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of Crete. We learned about Cretan life from a historical, as well as present day perspective. His off road.....  more »

  • Our family had a wonderful tour with Nasos and his lovely wife Eleni. We felt like family in Crete for a visit. Our 12 and 15 year olds told us this was their favorite of all the excursions of our cruise because of the feeling of inclusion in the culture. We learned so much and had wonderful food and wine as well. Don't hesitate!
  • High standards services.Thank you!
  • Definitely worth setting aside a day to do a jeep excursion. We did the Milia Mountain Retreat, where we got to see the beautiful views of the countryside of Crete, walk through a gorge, and enjoy fantastic local cuisine and wine in the mountain village of Milia. You won't experience anything like this if you spend all your days inside the city! Go out and explore with Chania Adventures!
  • Nasos is an amazing guide with genuine enthusiasm about Crete and Greek culture. We learned an incredible amount from him in a few hours and really made us feel a connection with Crete and its people. My wife and I did the wine and olive oil tour and enjoyed it so much we went back out with him on the tour to the Shepherd's Hut. I would highly recommend either trip. For the price and convenience (Nasos picks you up at your lodging) these tours cannot be topped by any other tour operators in the Chania area. If you are there and wish to get away from town for a full day of adventuring, Chania Adventures is definitely the way to go.
  • First of all, thank you so much to Yannis for the day tour! I wanted to do a day tour, but as I was the only one who wanted to go on Shepherd's Hut today and the minimum group size was 2, I almost couldn't make it. I offered to pay a bit more for a personal tour, and Nasos accepted! It was very reasonable price for what you get. Private tour with Yannis, the partner of Nasos, from 9 am to 5 pm. Yannis kept making sure I am enjoying the tour and stopped at places for me to take photoshoots. I have only been to Shepherd's Hut tour, but I'm sure other tours are just as good. First off, we went through the lemon, orange, and avocado farms, and then stopped at a village for a small breakfast. Then the off-road adventure started. Next stop was THE Shepherd's Hut! The Shepherd was living with sheep, and I got to see where he milks sheep and even went into his sheep cheese cave. The Shepherd offered us homemade cookie and tsikoudia (traditional drink). It was a lifetime experience for sure. Then we went back to the village for traditional and organic lunch. We had a Greek salad, smoked pork, *lamb cooked in olive oil*, sheep cheese, and some desserts! Yannis apparently has 50 olive trees, other fruit trees, and beehives. We stopped at his father-in-law's beehives and he gave us some bee quiz sessions. Overall, it was a very good day spent! For what it's worth, I'd love to recommend to everyone who's visiting Chania. Nasos was also very kind at checking my reservation and making sure my trip was good! Hope they pick up really soon as their main marketing is through trip advisor... See you guys soon! I'll add some pictures once I get a chance :)
