  • If you have just a few hours to spend and you are near the Athens international airport, it's a wonderful choice. Actually the place is so interesting that you might want to come to this side of Attic...  more »
  • The archaeological site of Vravrona presents very interesting. Apart from the wonderful sanctuary of Artemis Brauronia, the Temple of Saint George and the small but very remarkable Archaeological Museum, coexists with the wetlands of the region, in which depending on the season they live not only endemic but also migratory species! Worth one visit for relaxation and mental uplift! But ask about the hours and days that the Museum and the area is open! Also beware, don't let mobile, purses, etc. in your cars, because the parking lot is deserted and afylachto!

  • Take metro 3, from syntagma it's 8 stations (don't remember the name) get off, walk out of the exit and turn to your right. You should see a bus terminal. Wait and take bus 304 and go all the way until the end (about an hour). From the last stop you continue by foot down the road about 2 km until you reach the site. The site itself was smaller than expected, so it was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the museum ain't too bad so check it out.
  • Brauron is a very famous ancient archaeological city where people from all around the world can visit. Brauron has many ancient artifacts in it's museum where people can also visit. The ancient city was founded in the 8th century and it's located in the eastern Attica, approximately 38 kilometers from the Athens. Go and visit this wonderful archaeological site.
