  • Great for a one day Sunday trip from Athens. Beautiful quiet archaeological site and interesting museum.  more »
  • From 1999 that I last visited as if abandoned thing with a security guard at the Museum, without access well into the natural archaeological site, have made huge strides. The line followed in the museums and archaeological sites last and obviously has to do with finance and philosophy on our culture has changed radically as the Fairgrounds, as well as highlight the landscape itself that the hosts. It was a pleasant surprise for me and my kids. The Museum full, clean, protected, detailed. Guards polite everywhere, well-lit exhibits and clear instructions. The sequel to the ride in the sanctuary of Artemis and the altar of Iphigenia was a terrific route and point to daydream, but reasoning and game ... A thousand thumbs up to those responsible and the Ministry for the maintenance and enhancement of this important point in our history!

  • Beautifull nature around an ancient sacred place of goddess Artemis (Diana). The museum is small but well organised.
  • Take metro 3, from syntagma it's 8 stations (don't remember the name) get off, walk out of the exit and turn to your right. You should see a bus terminal. Wait and take bus 304 and go all the way until the end (about an hour). From the last stop you continue by foot down the road about 2 km until you reach the site. The site itself was smaller than expected, so it was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the museum ain't too bad so check it out.
  • Brauron is a very famous ancient archaeological city where people from all around the world can visit. Brauron has many ancient artifacts in it's museum where people can also visit. The ancient city was founded in the 8th century and it's located in the eastern Attica, approximately 38 kilometers from the Athens. Go and visit this wonderful archaeological site.
  • Magical
  • The Temple of Artemis in Brauron is an excellent opportunity for the harmonious interconnection history, culture, art, religion and natural beauty. Artemis, Goddess of nature, but also a protector of children and the family for the ancient and iereia of Iphigenia, whose adventure, in the Trojan war, we recounted the Evripides, associated with the spiritual traditions of Christianity, the Kastri paliochristianiki Basilica and the chapel of Ag. George, that signal the continuation of spiritual quest and all this in a calm and very special natural environment, reminiscent of Olympia and Epidaurus! The area we chose for the walk of Ambulatory Faculty "in the paths of people" of motion Organikotitas KOSMOPOLIS, which took place on Sunday, 24/9/2017. Then discussion around the saying of the great stwikoy philosopher Epiktitos: "people are not troubled by things, but in terms of the things '!
