  • Panathenaic procession took place along this road, by which the Athenians were going up to the Parthenon to offer sacrifices to the gods, as the same Parthenon Frieze. Stretches of this road are still visible in the area of the ancient Agora and the northern slope of the Acropolis.

  • Walk in the footsteps of history part of the agora not a lot to see bit let your mind wonder and paint your own picture 
  • Historic=yes..Interesting=not really. You might as well walk it to get from one attraction to the next. Footsteps of history.
