  • We stayed 3 days in Athens, so we had enough time to visit the Ancient Agora. It is intresting. The upper floor was closed, the building is well preserved.Go there if you have time.  more »
  • Part of the 30 euros 7 sites package this is a must see museum. The restored building shows you 2000 years of history.  more »
  • The museum itself is a smaller museum, well-organized with some nice pieces. It does not take long to go through and provides a welcome respite from the heat. The building is an impressive reproductio...  more »

  • Only had an hour to see it but it was not enough! There are a lot of really nice paths and you can definitely take your time and enjoy the natural surroundings. The main site it the Temple of Hephaestus. The Agora museum is good if a bit small. The staff were really good about shuffling people out at closing time while still respecting the fact that most people are tourists and just want a quick picture.
  • The Athenian Agora is a fascinating archaeological site, with labels explaining what was once located there, as well as a few descriptive display boards. The Stoa of Attalos is completely reconstructed to show what it was once like, the upstairs houses a number of sculpture and models of the site, but has no wheel chair access. The south entrance we used to the Ancient Agora had no wheelchair access, but there was another north entrance, so not sure if that does? However there was no wheel chair access to the temple of Hephaestus.
  • A good place to walk around in the late afternoon, walking underneath the shadows of the trees and enjoying the ruins of the agora. It's not nearly as crowded as the acropolis which definitely added up to the experience. I recommend this place for a peaceful stroll with s great view of the acropolis.
  • I really liked this park the ruins are very nice and there are great views of the Acropolis and the city. I love the trees and turtles.
  • An amazing place to spend an afternoon just wandering around and discovering Athens' history in an unstructured way. Take a picnic.
