  • Large square on Athinas Street between Monastiraki and Omonia. One part is occupied by archaeological excavations with graves and the city's ancient fortifications. In this square are located the National Bank of Greece and the municipality of Athens. Thank you for reading this review. I've written more about Athens, London, Rome, Milan. If you feel like it will be very welcome a link to vote useful below.

  • Kotzia square lies along Via Athena, which connects Monastiraki square at Omonia pizza (from which one can continue on to the National Archaeological Museum). Strolling in Kotzia square you can overlook on excavations, including the ancient gate of Acharnae, part of the walls, and a necropolis.
