  • The city of Athens is here at Kotzia square that bears the name of Konstantinos Kotziasa-former Mayor. The square is known as the Platia Ethniki Andistassis (National Resistance). Was founded in 1874 and is surrounded by preserved buildings of interest. On the square formed fountains and monuments. During the construction work discovered here starogrecką the entrance gateway to Athens, a defensive wall – that are now exposed. Next to the municipal office is nice, pseudo antique marble statue of the great leader's Athenian democracy of Pericles (500-429 BC) by Heinrich Faltermeiera from 1971.
