  • The Athens Cathedral is magnificent in its interior, richly adorned by Byzantine figures. Is in the neighborhood of Plaka and if you get a chance, watch a celebration. It's worth it!

  • The Church is located Street Metropolis, one of the streets that connect zintagma to monastiraki. Rather simple from the outside, the Church is richly decorated inside even if it remains small. The forecourt where throne statue of Archbishop Dimitrios Papandreou says Damaskinos and the adjoining square are a nice space for mediation before joining the bustle of the shopping streets in the area.
