  • You'll find mainly fish, meat, pork and nuts: everything is absolutly fresh and looks delicious! If you don't mind the sellers saying hello and trying to catch customers, you should go and get something. You'll feel inspired to cook!
  • To be completely honest, I've only briefly walked through a section of the central market to reach a little restaurant at the back. The meat section has various meats available for you. Most notable are probably the heads of sheep/goats as they tend to elicit a stronger response than racks of ribs or leg of lamb hanging from hooks on display. I will say that the smell in this section is indicative of the fresh meat available from every stall. I didn't take any meat home with me. Also it's a little darker than you might be expecting as you walk in from the sunny streets of Athens.
  • Not sure if cheap or average. But there's a lot to choose from and it's fresh!
  • It seems like all of the markets are leaning the same way in Greece. If you've been to one, you've seen them all. Worth a quick walk through.
  • Due to Hustle one buyer has to face I consider this spot just okey and nothing more one reason for this might be the shop keepers as old traditional Greek vendors are not interested to carry on the line and they are being replaced by Vendors from Arab and Balkan origin which are not ashamed of ill deeds and has valve for fellow humans. Cheating, sick language is becoming common phenomena above all their is no law authority to control these ill deeds.
