Athens Wine Tasting, Athens

The wine tasting itself is a great and fun experience which gives you a broad overview of Greek grapes and wine-making. However, I'm deducting points because it is overpriced and the wines offered are sold at 3-4 times their actual cost (sold as 30-40€, in a normal wine shop you find the exact same wines actually cost 8-15€). Considering the price of the wine tasting, I'd expect wines in the range of 30-50€. You get about 50 ml of three whites and two red wines, all dry. The food is a small tasty variety of cheeses and two meats.

Its all about finish..Have you ever noticed that when you first taste a wine you can’t tell if you like it right away? It takes a second for you to get the full impression of the wine; you’re waiting for the finish — that moment after the flavor dissipates. The finish is often the defining moment of a wine. Thank you Athens Wine Tasting ! It was an amazing experience. Professional and fun approach, gives you the opportunity to learn all about the Greek wines and culture.. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

Came here for mother's birthday and everyone really enjoyed the experience. Theo was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Tasty wines and cheeses - would recommend to anyone travelling to Athens!

Great experience, a nice way to pass your time in Athens. Some extraordinary wines there!! We bought a couple of them and take them to our hotel.The host also gave us many nice tips for the area and the nice places in Athens
