  • The building itself has come far in the years. The exhibition on the ground floor seems to be somehow checked together; the accompanying explanations to some exhibits are available only in Greek. For the composition of exhibits makes a very good impression to the military history of Greece of the XX-th century.

  • Super weapons collection, some neat jets outdoors and a good academic collection on the top floor. If your not au fait with your modern Greek history some rooms are a bit difficult
  • It's run by mostly volunteers and they could use the support to so leave a donation as well. This place is full of stuff from some of the most famous conflicts in man's history so it's well worth a look.
  • All in all a good military history museum. A lot to see and learn. Their animated battle maps are excellent. Unfortunately copies were out of stock in their bookstore.
  • As someone who isn't normally interested in museums, I found this particular area of history fascinating and the museum itself engaging. Would recommend a visit.
  • A must visit museum for every tourist interested in military history and every Greek that respects his identity. The old fighting aircrafts at its yard are a nice sight indeed.
