  • tired of classical Antiquities I thought I'd get an idea of the history of the city after Greeks, Romans and Byzantines. Are not satisfied by this museum which would output a lot of potential. Entrance cost 5 euros although in winter all the museums they cost half as much. And at the moment it's worth it. If you are fond of furniture of 800 and already know what you're looking at then that's fine. Let's start with a first room where on a machine with much information texts are only in Greek. In the second room for luck a big screen 3d interactive tells us a lot about 3 historical periods and monuments of the city, in Greek and English. Maybe you find something like this on the net for free. The other rooms on the ground floor and first floor are furnished as in the time of Otto and Amelia, and under the paintings, and only those, there is a tag in Greek, English, sometimes in German. See the drawing of an audioguide and ticket rifiondo me to ask ... do not work, sorry ... So in 10 minutes I'm looking at used furniture I wonder by whom and for what purpose, details who knows why and from whom decorator, tables set for who knows what the occasion, the history of 800 I can imagine a little thanks to the studies, but not that much! Very disappointed, I also say to the employee, the audio guides are essential if there are explanatory signs, he looks appalled and surrendered. Makes me ilo no doubt that there are funds given the crisis and I am silent. But write it in the comments. I mean, I could spend them 5 euros, but then maybe these 5 euros they could spend it on audio guides ....
