Where to stay in Amorgos

While Amorgos boasts a number of hotels and other lodging options, the best way to experience the culture of the island (at the best price) is to rent a room in a guesthouse or shared home. These possibilities are available in both of the major port cities on the island, Katapoula and Aeigali. Aeigali is also home to the island's campgrounds and several complexes with rooms for rent. If you prefer to stay inland, consider the hilltop village of Hora, one of the most scenic spots on the island, with lovely rooms and other self-catering accommodations.
