  • Currently the fortress is an abandoned pile of stones and debris, with absolutely nothing to see or do there. Entrance used to be paid and there used to be some events in the castle, now there is nothing going on, you can enter for free and walk around any time. Couple of paths and trash lying here and there, nothing else. Worth climbing too if you haven't yet seen the view of Santorini from a hill, but there are plenty of nicer places that offer the same view.
  • It’s a nice little ruins of a castle. You have to hike up to it, but there are wonderful views of both sides of the island once you’re up there. It’s a mix of the classic whitewash paint, old dark stone ruins, and then the sea and Greek flag. Great for photos and for people who like to explore. It would be great if they’d restore it!
  • A bunch of rocks, walls and building materials. No information on site. The views from the top are great.
  • It is a small portion that remains standing. The majority of the castle is rubble but the views are spectacular.
  • The most beautiful experience
