  • After a long climb in laces we discover the monastery. A monk offered to enter and we opened the chapel. Lovely dug in the rock and beautiful paintings. Unfortunately lack of understanding of the site (speaking Greek)

  • If you get out of here and go to the plateau of Lassithi, feel free to go eat at Manoz to Plati. You will be received like royalty with the meat on the spit at more than democratic prices. Enjoy your meal

  • Very nice monastery with magnificent panoramic views. In the Church of the monastery of Faneromeni there is a cave with a wonderfully-found icon. Inside sat dozing monk. More than anyone. Go to the cave, which is "covered" by a pair of candles. Stand you quietly and suddenly boom-bang-the door is closed) Was me. Now I am sure that this is such a monastic immobilized. Somehow inexplicably monk quickly returned. The first thing he asked, opening the door: Scared?) And what I fear: I'm in church and not Turks.
