  • We decided on a guide to participate to learn details about the village. For €10 to get history teaching at its best and makes a journey through time 80 years back. Our guide was very friendly and has a great knowledge, which brings it closer to visitors in a pleasant way. There's not much in its original condition to see - no surprise at this turbulent history, which has the village behind. Who is interested should take 2-2.5 hours and take a guided tour – it's worth.

  • The Olympic village 1936 is in a sorry state and if you look around alone, will soon disappointed from thence. As you can see only the Foundation slabs of a row of houses, other, larger buildings have been completed and arranged accommodation and toilet is accessible to the public. Therefore, those who are interested should attend necessarily on a guided tour. On weekdays, a guided tour is at 1100 am - otherwise you see on the Web page. With leadership, generally learn a lot story - about Olympic Games the games of 1936, the specific location of this village, and why the State is so pathetic. This is all exciting narrated by a local residents. The arrival is not easily made one as a pedestrian. We had an ABC VBB environmental map and she goes to Elstal, but not to Nauen. So we have got towards Rathenow to Elstal with the RE 4 and went walking in the village. It takes a good half hour. The signage is not uniform, but you find your way with the cycle - and car signage. You can print out even a small Plänchen at Google-maps. But, please note: abbreviations no longer apply - the terrain is new totally eingezohnt. So really the road go along to the bus stop Eulenspiegel settlement - the entrance is just opposite. The prices are a bargain: €10 for over 2 hours of leadership and € 1 for a water - you could ask for the benefit of the village!
