Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Wurzburg's popular Market Square offers a wide selection of traditional goods in a historic outdoor setting. The area is dominated by the Gothic Marienkapelle Church on one side and the Baroque Falkenhaus on the other. (The latter houses the tourist information office.) You'll find fruits, flowers, cheeses, meats, candies, and numerous other artisanal goods. Throughout the year, the site hosts numerous local festivals, such as the famous Christmas Market every December and the wine festival in late spring, where more than 100 local wines are paired with international cuisine for a 12-day celebration. A visit to Market Square represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Wurzburg vacation planner to plot your vacation.

  • The Marktplatz of Wurzburg was once beautiful but had to be restored after the war. The Church and the neighbouring building with rich Baroque decoration are beautiful! The indoor market which they have created they had better by another architect can do; completely out of place and the atmosphere in the square does no good. But that's my taste and opinion. Further activity with shops and eateries.

  • A nice place to go in the old city of Wurzburg...especially centre stage the giant red and white Mary’s Church (or Marienkapelle). In the city known for baroque architecture, the gothic Marienkapelle.
  • 現代化的百貨公司、賣最新手機的商店、傳統的水果攤、古老的教堂、精緻的雕塑古跡和洶湧人潮交織在一起的熱鬧景象。喜歡逛街的人,這裡的多樣風貌值得流連。
