  • Driving cycle path on the main direction of Würzburg you can see the fortress Marienberg from afar. I liked very.

  • Beautiful fortress from spectacular, accessible by car with paid parking or walk through two paths indicated just past the bridge. We took the left leg, the path is in the Sun between the rows of vines and, in summer, it gets tested by hot especially if you have kids, I recommend because much more pleasant, the right path almost completely through a beautiful shaded garden took on the way back. Anyway don't forget water and inquire of the visiting hours.

  • The well-preserved fortress of Würzburg bishops is worth a visit. Participate in a guided tour. Until they understand the construction of the plant and can in the left, enter the parapet walk, and so on. Otherwise, they will perceive only a large pile of stones.

  • We toured the grounds and part of the buildings on our own. Arrived by the city bus and then walked back to hotel on the other side of the river. Our group (two 50s and three early 20s) had a great afternoon at the castle complex. Enjoyed the restaurant too for a snack and liquid hydration. Recommended.
  • Beautiful little area with lots of visual touristy delights. They have an amazing bird's eye view of the town once you go into the terrace area. There's also a beautiful garden.
  • Great experience! Some construction going on so weren't able to see it all, but can't hold that against them
  • Great views and worth walk up. Walk is only 10 minutes from alte bridge. Under construction at top so look for tiny walkway to access the Queens Garden for the best view, and take a wine.
  • Great views f the city. Self guided tour with little English. It is a nice walk up
