  • A quiet place is rarely discovered. You have to look for him. Here, the grave of Walther von der Vogelweide, minnesinger and poet is "allegedly". For me always a place of silence and remembrance.

  • The Lusamgärtchen or even Lusamgärtlein Schwer to find and also some of the residents of the city find it hard with directions. Standing in front of the Cathedral, between the left double Tower and a passage is the Museum, then it is located on the Kilian square, left to the Neumünster in Martin Street, right, there is a bookseller and an archway with a sign on the left side. -a small courtyard on the north side of the Neumünster Church. Formerly in the middle of the late Romanesque cloister of the monastery of Neumünster. Some parts of the original arcade series in its original place were reconstructed to 1953. A first glance falls on a tower, down at the front of the garden a Pietà, memorial stone, from 1764 and right to the Tower running the arcade series. Right on the Archway there is a range of trees and shrubs, dark. Here is located the tomb for the minnesinger Walther von der Vogelweide. Probably, the tomb was abolished until the mid of the 18th century. In the form of a stylized Tumba, a memorial stone of by sculptor fried howler recalls the poet. As inscription of the set: from Walther von der Vogelweide, somsak of the vergaeze, the quality me suffer. A legend says that Walther von der Vogelweide should have had that at his grave every day to feed the birds were, therefore, circular depressions in the four corners are cut. Grains and water should come in here for the birds.
