  • In the from the Heydt-Museum there is always great exhibitions. These are each time super prepared and researched. Usually, there is also a short film, the artists and their works to the exhibitions. Currently, we have visited the exhibition "Degas & Rodin - giants of modernism". Once again, it was an experience, one sees not only the pictures of the artist, but learns too much about the artist and their history.

  • The great juxtaposition of Degas and Rodin was widely announced, with lectures and articles accompanied even a flop, but unfortunately in the Museum. There although many studies are in the exhibition by two artists, so that you can see that Rodin has also drawn, painted and Degas made sketches for his sculptures. Also the different levels of abstraction of both Rodin naturalistic precision, Degas more modern torn, come well out. But in principle, only a few works by two there were presented. I would have more presence of the famous dancers of Degas and more of Rodin's sculptures/statues desired.

  • Very good, except they need to write information in English and low enough for people to be able to read it also. But, I enjoyed the exhibition and learned something new.

  • Schönes Museum!
  • Not refresh ban on photography, very nervous supervisors, who was visiting.

  • The exhibitions are great, there's always an introductory film, which tells a lot about the exhibition. The rooms are spacious and very neat. One of the best museums!

  • And I think it's self-evident that you should not shoot in museums.

  • Good exhibition images. What bothered me is that Heydt is listed about each image in a larger font of not only the artist, but also as the patrons... The naming of the Museum is not enough for them.
