  • As a child I was ever there and blew a vase. After more than 30 years, we were with our 10 year old daughter there recently. The Hall is large and drafty in the winter, dress so warmly. My daughter blew also a vase and I found great, as empathetic and patient staff to deal with children. The Museum is very interesting for adults, in children comes to the child itself to. The Christmas village was nicely designed, there was so much to the look and admire. Then we ate there in the restaurant. Large portions and taste very good. The salad bar is covered, so that no dust and other in the salad. The cake is homemade and also very good. We had a nice, entertaining lunch in Wolfach and a great experience for young and old is to blow your own glass vase.

  • But also us was a great experience to watch an glass makers at work at 1250 degrees hot oven and to blow then even a vase for our children. The whole is rounded off by clear explanations of the glass-maker and a very successful half-hour movie that you can watch. Only drawback: in the winter it's really cold in the cabin, jacket, hat, scarf and gloves you need indoors.

  • The Dorothee Hütte in Wolfach shows very clearly how glass is made. Above all, it's fun to produce its own vase with the help of the staff. Necessarily warm wear in the winter, the Hall is very big and it gets cold quickly. Staff is very friendly and happy to answer questions. The prices are absolutely justified, bearing in mind what is craft!

  • Glass Museum in the Black Forest. A nice experience viewing the small museum as well as getting a glass vase blown for a fee
  • Great place to bring the kids. The staff was very friendly, and it was made for a great couple of hours.
  • Horrible, rude personel, expensive and the glass in the shop is not made by Dorotheenhuette. In the area of Wolfach is little else to do. It's a typical place where busloads of tourists go. Better go to Glashuette Buhlbach in Baiersbronn. This is real authentic with friendly personel. All the glass they have in the shop is made by themselves. They also have a small museum which is very nice. In Baiersbronn are loads of good things to do so the trip will not be just for the glass. Don't go to Wolfach...we were very disappointed last summer.
  • This is a great place, I absolutely loved it! The glass blowing is awesome and the glass shop has some amazing products!
  • Interesting place to watch, but rather small
