Made famous by a visit from Martin Luther--and now his tomb--the spartan Castle Church (Schlosskirche) has a simple floor plan and beautiful stained glass windows. Centuries ago, Luther visited this church and nailed his writing, 95 Theses, to the door. The commentary, which spoke against the corrupt Catholic Church, was quite sensational in its day and had a hand in starting the German Reformation. Now you can visit the Luther's tomb and admire the bronze plaque that marks it.
