Wilhelmstrasse, Wiesbaden

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web
Now a high-end shopping area, Wilhelmstrasse was recognized as the seat of the government--first the Kingdom of Prussia, then the unified German Reich, and ultimately the seat of the Nazi Party--until 1945. Today you can take a stroll down this street to shop for many prominent brands, with stores selling everything from housewares to designer shoes and bags to toys and electronics. Enjoy a meal at one of the cafes or restaurants along the way, or people-watch in the nearby park. Parking in the area can be hard to find and expensive, so consider walking or taking public transportation. Take a look at our Wiesbaden itinerary maker to schedule your visit to Wilhelmstrasse and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
