Wilhelmstrasse, Wiesbaden

(4.3/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Now a high-end shopping area, Wilhelmstrasse was recognized as the seat of the government--first the Kingdom of Prussia, then the unified German Reich, and ultimately the seat of the Nazi Party--until 1945. Today you can take a stroll down this street to shop for many prominent brands, with stores selling everything from housewares to designer shoes and bags to toys and electronics. Enjoy a meal at one of the cafes or restaurants along the way, or people-watch in the nearby park. Parking in the area can be hard to find and expensive, so consider walking or taking public transportation. Take a look at our Wiesbaden itinerary maker to schedule your visit to Wilhelmstrasse and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Huge inside. The organ plays at 1100. Lovely. Massive and a glorious ceiling. Great to see if you love history and cathedrals.

  • The Wilhelmstrasse is Wiesbaden Avenue with beautiful houses from the turn of the last century. Dam, bowling green and Kurhaus, cause warm and you stroll on this site beautiful under plane trees. The shops on the other side are very exclusive and correspondingly expensive. A secret is the beautiful literature Café in the Villa Clementine and also the pineapple cake in the Café customers.
