  • Summary: The permanent exhibition is impressively informative. Unfortunately, context is missing in many places. The supervisory staff was intrusive phases. Now in detail: we had unfortunately little time, opted for the content very cleverly split permanent exhibition. To more clearly illustrate this Division in advance would be practical. Anyway: we have started the permanent exhibition art and there met the areas of old masters, classical modernism and modernism & contemporary. That was very interesting, enlightening, only negative point: the complementary, two-sided DINA5 leaves and here there, and the books were very, very good - unfortunately much too little, so that the information content for numerous works was too low (especially as there was also no stelae for the introduction, etc.). Another negative point: as obviously culture idiots, young couple we have pursued by an Invigilator in the otherwise empty Museum permanently. It was strange to pushy. The second part, the permanent exhibition nature, contextualized classified (apparently also for a rather younger target group) according to color, shape, movement and time, was very interesting and has a despite known issues (e.g. camouflage,...) can provide much new and valuable information. The exhibition with deposit lockers instead of dressing room definitely is worth a visit! From outside the building doing here, if not just construction, yet extremely.

  • The natural history collection has been newly revised and now seeing in beautiful dioramas. Unfortunately, many of the previously dusty pieces in the collection are gone. So something there and torn contemporary am, between the beautiful presentation and the memories of my youth, full cabinets with many pieces, I've sorely missed particularly the quagga. The art collection is also worth a visit with works by Macke, Kollwitz and Kandinsky. There are also always very interesting temporary exhibitions.

  • During a short visit, we were also at the Museum Wiesbaden... We were impressed by the exhibition with paintings of Macke also has something fascinating Kollwitz and Barlach, also the building... The description of the objects is to be desired... It lacks even the appearance of an overall concept... We have not understood where the emphasis is... There, more increases are possible...
