  • The significance of Schiller for the German language, German theatre, and German poetry cannot be overestimated and one can really imagine how he lived and worked here. A very well-designed museum; tr...  more »
  • The Schiller House offers some spectacular, a few beds, wardrobes and other furniture at first glance. Of course, there are also a few original documents by Friedrich Schiller, these are interesting, if you can read. Really exciting it is but if you used the child audio guide, this is spoken from the perspective of Schiller's daughter and his house servant and really very well done. Then, everything has a meaning and you can learn much about Schiller's time in Weimar. The writing workshop is also a nice idea.

  • The Schiller House is of course worth watching, because Schiller there, if not long, lived and wrote. Unfortunately, little remains of the original institution. The audio guide is recommended, because it once again gives a brief overview to the different rooms.
