  • The Liszt Haus is a little South of the city of Weimar in close proximity to the Park on the ILM. By Goethe's house out is to walk in less than four minutes. The House is the former residence of the composer and pianist used today as a museum. It was built in 1798/99 as a residential and services of the Weimar Court gardener.  This would renovated outside and inside extensively and makes a beautiful impression. The establishment has been almost completely preserved and provided insight into the life of a musician. The exhibition has not really tied us and so we were out after a short period of time. We have also no real wire to the musicians. The House is rather suitable for lovers.

  • On the edge of the city centre at start park. It is not indicated that you left the corner. Liszt had a beautiful home. Are composers room is beautiful and in original condition. For the rest you are easily bored with, but it is also possible there to stay longer by using the headphones a large number of sound bites of the maestro and other composers can be heard.. There are CD ´ s for sale. Entrance Euro 4.50.

  • Weimar is not only Goethe and Schiller. Liszt was so to speak the second generation of by well-known artists and intellectuals who came here. The House is situated on the edge of the city centre. Within walking distance, it is still within easy reach of the Wielandplatz (practically back from the Goethe House). A bus also. Interesting aspects of his life and work are taught very well in the House of the composer. Also, to get an informative insight in the post classic time in Weimar.

  • Elegant house and accurate museum. Good looking and great music, dear Franz!
  • Great showrooms and music samples! The audio guide and headphone (tech stuff) were really good and the audio guide itself was fun to listen to. The staff here are so nice and helpful too! 10 out of 10, would recommend.
  • Great house and very interesting to visit, a must see in weimar
  • Even though we went to the GDR-times there, but it will remain the eternal experience Museum decorated former dwelling.
