  • We in Weimar is should definitely take the time, to visit the Garden House. A little one feels transported back in Goethe's time and you can feel the time and smell the past.

  • The park is really nice to walk especially beside Sternbruecke (Star bridge). There is the Ilm river and during summer is a nice place to chill out.
  • Has good me fallen must but anyone even know whether he can do something with Goethe. I kan that personally and interesting insights were possible in his private life.

  • Residential and workplace of Johann Wolfgang of Goethe's from 1776 to 1782 with furnishings from all stages of the life of the poet. The late 16. century little Mountain House was Goethe's first private residence in Weimar. The garden behind the House is divided into a park-like slope area, a clear orchard and vegetable beds and served as a place for social gatherings. Very special atmosphere!
