(4.6/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Along Alter Strom, traditional fishing boats bob on the water while old fishermen's cottages converted into restaurants beckon you inside for freshly caught Baltic seafood. Sit outside one of the cafes to watch the boats and people go by. Small, colorful boutiques and fish markets line the street, and a small square with the old lighthouse stands at its end. • In this old fishing village of Warnemünde, the old power is a real attraction. Here you can wonderfully stroll, there are numerous small boutiques, restaurants, hotels and bars. In the port are partly still old fishing trawler, which are also still seaworthy. Other boats were converted to the fish and fish sandwich sales, jewelry sales (Amber), etc. Wonderfully, you can sit out here when a copious meal, or a snack and enjoy the sea air. We like to come back every year!

  • The old power is the tourist centre of Warnemünde. Right there are the fishing boats and one finds "fish-laden" gastronomy. On the left is the promenade with restaurants and shops.
