Categories: Natural History Museums, Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks, Museums
Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Recreating every type of natural setting, including the sea, Mueritzeum Aquarium is a nature-lover's sanctuary. Each exhibit is labeled with a poetic name, such as "House of the 1,000 Lakes," where fish race alongside each other in the clear water. You can view their antics through the aquarium walls. You'll also find songbirds and woodland animals living in lush displays. The museum doubles as a research facility, and education about its inhabitants is one of its missions. • Interesting for the whole family! Modern Museum... Interactive with lots of information. The kids had fun and all have become a bit smarter!

  • One is very spoiled in these things now to the part. But there are some quite interesting things to see not only fish, but also on the subject of forest. We spent about 2 hours.

  • Lack of real alternatives probably still with among the better sights of the city. The Museum is not particularly large. Seen everything after approx. 1-2 hours. For example relatively many, large fish in relatively small pools. The cinema shows a short film about Mecklenburg with much to loud sound. Probably due to the many hard of hearing pensioners.
