Mueritzeum Aquarium, Waren

#4 of 14 in Zoos & Aquariums in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania
Natural History Museum Zoo / Aquarium
Recreating every type of natural setting, including the sea, Mueritzeum Aquarium is a nature-lover's sanctuary. Each exhibit is labeled with a poetic name, such as "House of the 1,000 Lakes," where fish race alongside each other in the clear water. You can view their antics through the aquarium walls. You'll also find songbirds and woodland animals living in lush displays. The museum doubles as a research facility, and education about its inhabitants is one of its missions. • Very affectionate and informative! There was to discover a lot and was also beautifully presented. Explanations were through images, quizzes and sounds very well represented and the interest was awakened. In itself a very good animal husbandry and on the aquarium with the Pike and catfish; This was far too small given the size of the animal. Also about the prices you may worry like. €12 for an adult is absolutely fine, but from our point of view should rather other groups such as pensioners are reduced and not unemployed. Anyway absolute recommendation...

  • Good and informative for families with children 8 years and older. Here you really learn much about the nature. Unfortunately, only boredom and restlessness arises in my opinion in younger children. From the point of view, it was too bad for the money.
